Kongsberg Automotive appoints new Executive Vice President, Information Systems & Technology

Zurich, Jan 9, 2024: Kongsberg Automotive (KA) has appointed Henrik Ruud as the Executive Vice President (EVP) for Information Systems & Technology (IS&T), effective Jan 1, 2024.

Ruud joined KA in 1996 and has, since March 2023, served as KA’s interim EVP for IS&T.

I am confident he will drive KA’s global IS&T agenda forward and focus on steering the company’s digitalization journey.”

“I am honored to be officially appointed as the EVP of IS&T organization in KA,” says Ruud. “In this new role, my plan is to develop partnerships with all functions, improve and digitalize business processes, advance utilization of current systems as well as new technology, and enable the company by fostering a learning culture.”

Before transitioning to IS&T, Ruud held various positions within Finance at KA, both in Sweden and the United Kingdom. With this appointment, Ruud joins KA’s Global Leadership Team and will continue to be based in Kongsberg, Norway.
