KA awarded contract for dynamic power steering systems to BRP worth USD 100 million (NOK 768 million)
Kongsberg Automotive's Driver Control Systems business area was selected by BRP, a major powersports OEM, to supply dynamic power steering systems (DPS). The agreement will incorporate the latest technology within Kongsberg’s next generation DPS product launch, providing BRP’s market-leading vehicles with superior performance.
The contract has an estimated total value of more than USD100 million (NOK 768 million). KA's facility in Grand Mère, Canada will produce these systems, beginning in 2015.
