New Commercial Vehicle Segment Business Wins in Brazil

Kongsberg Automotive (KA) has been awarded several new contracts with leading commercial vehicle manufacturers in Brazil. The contracts for cabin stabilizers, clutch actuation systems and gearshift systems have a total value of EUR 23 million (NOK 169 million) over their 4-5 year durations. Full scale supply will begin from 2013.

These manufacturers are important global customers of KA, and the new contracts show KA`s strong position both on the Brazilian market and specially with these manufacturers.

Our Brazilian customers will be offered technical solutions which will give better driving comfort, more smooth and precise gearshift feeling and a perfect clutch pedal load matched to different platform applications.
